Congratulations!

Committing your life to Christ is the best decision you will ever make. We want to help you develop and grow in your walk with God. Now that you have made a decision to follow Christ, you may ask, “What’s Next?” Well, we are so glad you asked!

1. Keep Coming to Church
Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. (Psalm 92:13)
Coming to church, even if you are only able to watch online plays a vital role in feeding and sustaining our spiritual lives. Make God’s house a priority. When you stay connected, you will continue to experience God’s best for your life.

2. Read Your Bible
Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)
Establishing a consistent, daily time for this takes our growth experience beyond the weekend and into our everyday lives. It doesn’t have to take a long time. We recommend following along with our Daily Reading Plan, about one chapter per day, and using the S.O.A.P method as a simple study guide.

3. Pray
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. (Psalm 37:23)
Jesus modeled a personal relationship with God through prayer. This is one of the most effective ways to deepen our relationship with our Father. Be intentional about talking with God, daily.

Here are 3 important truths to remember. These truths now pertain to YOU, as you have received Christ as your Lord & Savior! How exciting!

1. You Have Been Made Right With God
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. (Romans 5:2)

2. You Have Been Made New
…Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; the new life has begun. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

3. You Are Becoming Like Jesus
..And the Lord, who is spirit, makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image. (2 Corinthians 3:18b)
